ScooterDrop — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ScooterDrop! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental of mobility equipment, including but not limited to knee scooters, from ScooterDrop, LLC (“ScooterDrop,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) in the State of Colorado. By booking, renting, or using our equipment, you agree to these Terms.
1. Rental Eligibility
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to rent equipment.
1.2 Rentals are for personal use only and may not be subleased or transferred without our written consent.
2. Rental Period & Billing
2.1 Rentals are billed weekly, beginning on the delivery date, and automatically renew each week until you request a return.
2.2 There is no fixed maximum rental period; rentals may continue indefinitely until canceled by the renter.
2.3 You may cancel at any time by notifying ScooterDrop via our return request process. Same-day pickup will be arranged where possible.
3. Delivery & Pickup
3.1 ScooterDrop offers free delivery and pickup within the Denver Metro area.
3.2 Deliveries outside our standard service area may incur an additional fee, disclosed before booking.
3.3 You agree to be present at the agreed pickup time or provide clear instructions for equipment retrieval.
4. Equipment Condition & Responsibility
4.1 All equipment is delivered in clean, functional condition, having been sanitized using all-natural doTERRA products and following medical-grade sanitation standards.
4.2 You are responsible for the care and safekeeping of the equipment during the rental period.
4.3 Normal wear and tear is expected and will not result in additional charges.
4.4 Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications may result in repair or replacement fees, billed at fair market value.
5. Maintenance & Repairs
5.1 If the equipment experiences mechanical issues during your rental, contact us immediately at support@scooterdrop.com or (800) 123-4567.
5.2 For tire issues (including popped all-terrain tires), ScooterDrop will provide a same-day replacement at no cost to you, with no penalty fees.
6. Liability & Assumption of Risk
6.1 You acknowledge that mobility equipment use carries inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, or improper operation.
6.2 You agree to use the equipment only as intended and in accordance with any instructions provided.
6.3 To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, ScooterDrop is not liable for injury, damage, or loss arising from your use or misuse of the equipment.
6.4 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
7. Insurance & Reimbursement
7.1 ScooterDrop does not directly bill insurance providers.
7.2 We will provide documentation upon request so you may submit for potential reimbursement to your insurer.
7.3 Approval of insurance claims is solely at your provider’s discretion.
8. Payments & Late Fees
8.1 Payments are processed weekly via the payment method on file.
8.2 Failure to process payment may result in suspension of service and recovery of equipment.
8.3 Late returns without prior notice may result in additional weekly charges.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
9.1 You may cancel your rental anytime before the next billing date to avoid additional charges.
9.2 No prorated refunds are issued for unused days within a weekly billing period.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
